the States with a-new outlook on
life. He set to woik for others'
instead of for self.
For many years Mr. Robins,
has aided in settling some of the i
biggest labor difficulties in this
country. So well has Raymond
Robins lived up to the teachings
of Jesus Christ that a prominent
professor of sociology in one of
the biggest American Universi
ties has called him "The modern
Paul." the North American
Student speaks in highest terns
of him when it says. "Every
thing he teaches he either lives
or is attempting to put into
pactice today."
Mr. Childs
Mr. Childs is a graduate of the
University of Wisconson, where,
as a student, he was president of
the Young Men's Christian Assoc
iation and later served as a local
se-retary in the same institution.
While a student at Wisconsin he
was active in student interests,
serving as editor of The Daily
Cardi,nal and the Westrn Inter
collegiate Magazine. He was
also a member of the student
self-government association and
represented his institution in in
tercollegiate . debates. He is a
member of Delta Siv)me Rho and
Phi Alpha Tau, national forensic
societies, and Sigma )elta Chi,
national journalistic fraternity.
For the last three years Mr.
Childs has been with the Inter
national Committee, serving in
the college field department of
the Middle West.
This series of addresses by Mr.
Robins and Mr. Childs will be one
of the most important events of
the year.
