months become convinced that it
is not very conducive to elevation
of soul for a man to be compell

shivers running up and down
his back, while at the same time
he can hear the steam escaping
from the heating plant not more
than a hundred feet away.
At present our chapel would
make a good reservoir for a re
frigerating plant. The words of
wisdom we there receive may
warm the heart, ,ut they seem
to have very little effect on our
''corporeal frames.'' The ex
pense of connecting chapel with
the heating plant would be ver'y
small, and doubtless it would
save the dean and his stenogra
pher much labor in tabulating
