GAMECOCKS PLAY WESLEYANS TODAY Visitors Have Strong Club and Should Attract Large Crowd. This afternoon at 3:30 o'clock Carolina will play the sixth game of the week: This contest will be with the West Virginia Wes leyan team of Buchanan, W. Va. West Virginia Wesleyan has a strong team. On Thursday they mopped with A. & M. of North Carolina to the tune of 4 to 3. Everyone knows that A. & M. always has a strong team, and defeating them is proof of the Wesleyans strength. This is their first trip to Columbia, and after playing two games here they jump to Athens, Ga., to play Georgia and from there to Lex ington, Va. In the games played this week, Carolina has played good ball. Though losing two out of three with Lafayette, the Gamacocks were not outclassed by the visi tors. With Mills or Adams in the box, a large crowd will no doubt be on hand. Mr. Joseph Norwood Addresses Y. M. C. A.
