Senate Gives Perniit. The Senate on Wedne?day passed a bill permitting Alfred "Fritz" vonKolnitz, a minor, to practice law. "Fritz" graduat ed in law at Carolina last year at the age of nineteen. By the laws of this State nd one under twen ty-one is allowed to practice ex cept by a special act of the legis lature. It happens that the base ball world is about to lose a promising catcher. Fritz has al ready become famous in profes sional baseball, having lead the Appalachian league in batting last season. He belongs to Cin cintati, and it is a safe bet that he has a great future in the big league if he chooses to follow that profession. Alumni Record. The second number of the Alumni Record will appear in' a few days. This small quarterly publication has as its object the closer union of alumni and alma mater,. and the offering of a me dium through which the 'alumni can keep up with one another.
