At Other Colleges.
According to some statistics recently
compiled, there are at Wofford College
374 men. These are divided as fol
lows: those taking the degree of M.
A., 6; seniors 47, juniors 50, sophq
mores 59, freshman 54, fitting school
158.
The Citadel is again preparing a
minstrel, on the order of the one given
last year. The show consists of two
acts, the first containing the usual
songs and jokes, and the second part is
a musical comedy, entitled "The Isle
of Prunes."
The speakers at the commencement
of the College for Women are to be

more, and President Snyder, of Wof
ford College. Further plans for com
mencement include the rendition of
Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" in the
beautiful gardens of the college.
Ground has been broken at the U. of
Ga. for the new Y. M. C. A. Alumni
Gymnasium building. This' building
will cost almost $100,00, the money
for which was raised by the students
and the alumni of the University. The
building will contain the offices of the
college Y. M. C. A., reading room,
gymnasium and baths.
A $100,000 law building is being
erected at Viirginia land a $200,000
law building is almost completed at
Iowa.-Ex.
The Triangle Club of Princeton
presents this year, as is its annual
custom, an original musical comedy,
and has arranged a more extensive
schedule of performances than has
been made since 1906. The play was
written by Cyrus McCormick, right
guard oi the varsity football team,
and the music was written by Ethel
bert Paul Nevin, '12, son of the late
Ethelbert Nevin, who was famous as
the composer of "The Rosary."
On May 20th, the Greek tragedy
"mEdipus Tyrannus" is to be pre
sented by the classical department of
Dartmouth College in the original
Greek. The undertaking of this task
is a very stupendous one and has been
done only once before, when it was
presented in 1881 at Harvard Univer
sity.

of each event was awardled a gold
medal, and ribbons were awvardled to
those who finished second and third.
