Tiik Columbia Journal says it is up

Morton, besides being a good farmer

Agriculture, is somewhat of a satirist.
In a letter to a friend, published ail

the Populist movement in deserved
terms, and opposes what they seek to
accomplish as "vicious vagaries." Of
course we looked for nothing" else
from Morton, but his manner of showing
up the fallacies of the Third Party
movement is especially strong. ' Those

The broad yellow river rolling' by

by many islands, and its waters surge

willows and are ruffled into waves by
the lodges of rack beneath. The
voice of the river rushing amid the

seund of ceaseless sighing from many

their foliage sways and rustles.
In Hollywood the soldiers sleep in f

battle line. Beneath the green turf,
shadowed by the whispering, swaying
trees, with the roses above them and
in the sound of the sighing from the
willows in the river, they sleep and
wait, silent, stark and motionless, each
man in his place in the last array.
