that we should have consulted
with regard to the mo/estation of

suggest an effective remedy hitherto
vainly sought. for in pots, t&r, horns,
rotteii eggs and traps. That the family
has iuertsased, notwithstanding this
formidable array of death-dealing in
struments/ proves conclusively that the
moled prefer their favorite diet of!
watermelon roots to the slow process
of starvation suggested to Ihem by the
pots buried in their runs, and their
sleek coats to one of “tar and feathers”,
however strangely it may Hound.
Moreover, fnal theV have respectfully
declined tampering with horns, simply
because they cannot “come out at the

subterranean root-eater, and not a bird
as might have been supposed by some.
His habitat^ therefore, is in the earth

melons in gourds filled with earth and
hang them up on mftrtin-poles, and,

I have knnwn and watched the use of Swift's S-.rt
erne for over fifty yearn, and have never known or
beard of a failure to cure Biood Poison when prop-
«dy taken. I used it on my servants from 1850 t<»
as did also a numlicr of my nc isjhhors, and ir
every case ths.t came within my knowledge it effected
a cure. In all my life 1 have iievi r known a remedy-
that would so fully accomplish what it Is recoin-
menued to do.

I have known and used Swift's Specific for mop?
than twenty years, and have seen more wonderful'
results from its use than from any remedy in of
out of the Pharrascopaia. It is a certain cud calc
antidote to all sorts of Blood Poison.
