Bachelors' Slti'Ki;.?On Tuesday
evening Jlr. ?V. li. Do'.y treated some
of the tried and non-repentant bachelors
to an elegant ''Jay-out". Tin; participants
assembled i n the sanctum of
Mr. A. W. Brown, and after a few
"preliminaries'' were informed that
supper was ready. Among the many
delicious viands and delicacies the
must lucious was twenty-pound wild
turkey. All seemed to have a special
liking for turkey, and none were too
modest to do the inner-man full justice.
It was not long before the size of
the once feathery monster and
the quantity of other good things were
considerably diminished and the innerman
man saicl amen to this feature of
the occasion. After having eating so
large an amount of solid food a "digester"

was, of course necessary. To act in
accordance with the former ceremonies
of the occasion this "digester" was taken
in the way of toasts. Several toasts
were made to the hosts and numerous
other subjects, which we are sorry that
space will not allow our mentioning.
Next came the relating of "anecdotes",
cracking jokes and giving experiences,
