Miss Lila Connor, of the faculty (woninue on seventh page) MRS. MARGARET HINNANT. An imitator is one who looks at someone else and tries to be like them. Our departed "Mother in Israel" Mrs. Margaret Hinnant, imitated her Lord in a marked degree. She had simple and common qual ities given to all of us, if we would make the best of them. She had an everlasting patience in overcoming difficulties until they vanished, a self control not to be shaken by others' petulance, an infinite capacity for self-sacrafice and self forgetfuness. A ilving, loving Christian, true of tongue, honest of heart and pure of conduct in her daily life. She is missed, not only by the members of the Winnsboro Methodist Church. but by the entire town, for she felt that her life belonged to the community she was in, and was always alive to a,ny opportunity for doing gooi. Whereas, Mrs. Margaret 'Hinnant has left us to be in the joyful pres ence of her Lord, for "in Thy pres ,.nce is fullness of joy, at Thy right handi there are pleasures forever-I mre,"-Psalms 16:11, be it Resnivod that a copy of these res olutions be sent to the Southern Christian Advocate and The Nv and Herald, that a copy be spread on the minutes of this society. and one be sent to the fitmily who should e el rejoice at her gain and daily follow her example that they might spend an eternity together. Do you know that nine out of ev. ery ten cases of rheumatism. are simply rheumatism of the muscles or chronic rheumatism, neither of which require any internal treat ment? The pain may be relieved by applying Chamberlain's Liniment, which makes sleep and rest possible, that certainly means a great deal to any one afflicted with rheumatism. THE HOME OF THE SOUL. In olden times it was believed that the seat of the soul was the stomach. most likely for the reason that a man is never so completely used up as when his stomach is out of order. For the cure of ordinary stomach troubles, there is nothing quite so prompt and satisfactory as Cham berlain's Tablets. They strengthen the stomach and enable it to perform its functions naturally. Give them a trial. They only cost a ouarter. FOR SALE-2 good milk cows. Also Butter for sale each week. John H. Cathcart. TilN TADE L The Military College of S6b~h Carolina CHARLESTON, S. C.
