Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Gooding, from Pittsburgh, spent several days with Mr. Gooding's parents, enroute to their new home in New Orleans. Misses Mary Frances Williford, Lu cy Doty and Irene Curlee have been in Great Falls, for a house party at the home of Miss Myra Ruff. Robert Y. Hartsville, May 26.--Miss Sallie < Beard an William Ketchin were mar ried Wednesday morning, May 22, at 6:30 o'clock at the residence of the bride's father, H. E. Beard, the Rev. J. T. Fowler, pastor of the bride, of - ficiating. Only the members of the families witnessed the ceremony. Mrs. Ketchin is an attractive youn. woman and is the youngest daughter of H. E. Beard. Mr. Ketchin came here from Winnsboro some months ago and since then has been employed with the Pedigreed Seed Company. Mr. and Mrs. Ketchin left for Winnsboro and other places. Every church and Sunday School is urged to cooperate in the great con tinent-wide campaign, beginning next: week, for the purpose of emphasizing! the -religious education of children, which will be conducted under the aus-! pices 'of the Elementary Division of the Interdenominational S. .$. Asso ciation. This campaign provides for the en listing of all children and adults in some Sunday School, through visiting committees. These committees will visit every home in town to ascertain who are in Sunday School and who are not; if not, what church preferred, etc. A complete census will be made not forgetting the cradle roll. On Monday afternoon, June 3rd, at 5 o'clock, the committees will begin their canvass, as follows: Ward 1-Miss Claudia Buchanan, chairman. Ward 2-Miss Gene Smith, chair man. Ward 3-Mrs. Clowney, chairman. Ward 4-Mrs. J. L. Robinson, chair man.
