W. The Conference for Education which meets in Columbia April 26-28 will be the most notable educational gathering held in Routh Carolina in several years. It will be a great opportunity for the teachers and other edu cational workers o the State to meet the leaders in educational thought, especially in the South. The Palmetto State should be fully represented at this great gathering. Mr. D. L. Stevenson, county superintendent of education, !issues a call this weGk for a I meeting of the school trustees and all others interested in the establishment of a permanent Industrial High School in Fair field county. This is a very important measure and the meet ing for its consideration should be fully attended so that the matter may receive the considera tion that is due it. At the same ' meeting the school trustees will consider the advisability of tak- I ing a new school census. a A few days ago we were at the home of a very progressive farmer in another county.
