Ina Well.
At about eleven o'clock Thurs
ay it was learned in town that
the night before at about the same
hour Mr. E. D. Mobley of Black
stock had been found in his well.
he report at first was that he
was dead, but a later investiga
ion disclosed the fact that,
though badly bruised by the fall,
e was still alive, conscious, and
that hopes of his recovery were
being entertained. We have no
information as to the occurrence.
We join the many friends of Mr.
Mobley in sympathy for him and
the hopes for his speedy recovery.
Mr. Moblev is one of the
ounty's best citizens, and a
reat interest in him has been
anifested by a large number.
Mr. D. A. Crawford and his wife,
a daughter of Mr. Mobley's, went
t once to Lackstock.
