Almost everyone -knows that Sage]

was to make lt at home, which is mus

Nowadays we simply, ask at any
drug store for "Wyeth's .Sage and

KEENEST INTEREST
IN DRESS-UP
WILL CELEBRATE DEPART
URE OF THE HARD
TIMES
BIG MOVEMENT
Over Entire Section ?nd Peoplo
Wi!! Forget War-Talk Pros
perity for Seven Days.
Tho Idea of a "Dross Up Week" Is
taking the wild-fire in Anderson, and
there is every reason to beliovc that
ii.io a.aimer of oGiob.'ating tho depar
ture of hard times and the advent of
prosperity all over this broad land is
going to prove extremely popular In
Andereon.
A similar movement ls on in prac
tically every state from the Great
Lakes to the Gulf, and next week the
entire country will be dressed up
looking prosperous, feeling prosper
ous, and, in fact, being prosperous.
Summer Is rapidly bowing herself out,
end it you still cling to thc palm
beach and the straw, bo suro you get
a lot of good out of ttiem tho remain
ing days of this week, and preparo
yourself to don something new and
reasonable next week-beginning on
Sunday.
This ls strictly a men's affair (tho
assumption being that the women are
going to dress up anyhow) and, if not
too far fetched, it might bo called tho
men's Easter display. But the name
is not material; just slip on soino glad
rags-brand new, too-and feel dress
ed up. Join the procession of pros
perous-looking "white primary vot
ers" and with an expensive looking
cigar in the. corner of your mouth,
talk good times for all you aro worth
for.a solid week. And by all means,
shame the fellow who is still growl
ing about the war and refuses to ap
pear In a now outfit-provided thoro
is any such person in Andersen, and
lt Is very doubtful that there is.
The merchants are going to dress
up their windows for dress up week,
and encourage In every way the move
ment for Anderson to "take off the old
coat and put coat aud trat on thc
new." No, indeed, no prize Is offered
for tho best dressed man, ' and os
everybody else is zoins to dross up,
you won't feel conspicuous in your
new togs. Buy 'em this woek-arid
wear.'om naxt week. !
