policy of this foremoht circus to pres
ent a street parade in the forenoon.

The history of tho Barnum and
Malley show is part of the history of
America. With tho stalwart P. T.

derful achievements perpetuated by

ploys 1,500 people, 1,380 of whom
travel with the organization. There
are 700 horses, 40; elephants and 1,200
other animals. The train upon which

The regular performance is intro
duced this season by a spectacular
pageant, entitled "Lalla Book" which
Is more gorgeous and interesting than
those of the past,.

in four acts was presented. The au
dience was splendid, considering the

seemed to thoroughly enjoy the play,

Mr. Pollock as Norman Ware, was
splendid and played his part to per
fection. Miss Summers, as M'Dll'e

pecial mention, Her work was that
of a real little actress, who knows
her part and plays it -plays it in such
a way that the audience can appre
ciate it and alsa'upprociate her. H or

be a drawing card this week.

play unless the specialities wore also
