tho Fourth of July celebration whlcb
is to be held on Monday, July 5th, ore
thinking of haning a ladlcs's ssddle
horse race. These events are attrac
ting a great deal of attention all over
the country now aird are proving very
interesting.
Quite a number of the ladies of the
city have made Inquiries in regard to
this feature of the day and lt ha? been
decided to have the race if a suillcient
number o (entries will be made. The
race will be free to all and a CUBII
purse will be tho prize, the amount
of which is to bo decided upon later.
