derson College and their wives.
After all had gathered in the parlors
of tho hotel, and greeted Mr. and
Mrs. King, and their distinguished
guests, all were invited into Hie spa
cious dining room which had been
beautifully decorutcd for the occas
ion. Tho tables were arranged like
a maltese eros*, with large bowls of
pink and yellow roses placed at in
tervals. Dainty hand painted for
get-me-not place cardB bore tho
gucstH's name and after each one
had found his or her place, they
wrote on their card, some good wish
for Mr. and Mrs. Vines, expressive of
their love and interest In them and
their new home In Virginia.
An elegant course supper was beau
tifully served, after which Mr. King
asked Dr. Frazer to act as toastmas
ter. Several charming and Informal
