The game between Orr and Equinox

noon was one of the beBt games of
this oeason in the mill league, result
ing in victory fo:- Equinox. The game
waa a pitchers battle between Watson
and Evans, with tho odds slightly in
favor of WaLson.
The game was called at 4 o'clock
and the first two batters that faced
Watson were fanned. The next man
hit a slow one to the pitcher and was
out. Practically tho same thing hap
pened wren Equinox came to bat, for
the first two men fanned and thc
third was an easy out.
Orr scored in the second Inning
when Kay beat out a bunt and after
stealing second, went to third on a
passed bull and came in home on
another passed ball.
Equinox did their first scoring I l
the fourth inning. A threebagger ana
a single netted them-one run. Again
in the suth inning, a long hit, a sacri
fice and another single made the sec

after the first run was made, Evans
tightened up and prevented further
scoring. The pitching of both men
was excellent. Watson fanned 12
