aid fund, schools have to run for a j
certain length of time, employ so j

No town of more than 2.500 inhabi
tants is eligible to rharc in this fund.
Mr. Felton stated yesterday that he.
expects to Ret between $16,00 and
$17.000 of State money this year for
the schools of Anderson County. A
few days ago he received from the
State continuent fundMhe sum of $3,
500. Prior to that he reeelved of the |
rural Krade?! school fund the sum nf
$7.700. I"nst fall he received $2.000
of term extension money, and also
received about $1.000 of the first
division of hljr?< school money. Ho
expects to receive yet nbout $1,000

derson next Sunday night for the pur
pose of delivering un address at the
commencement exorcises of thc city
high school .Monday evening and
spending half of the week visiting
school communities of the county.

visit any of thc schools, us all of
them lin ve closed for tile summer. ll<
will, however, meet with the patrons
of the various school communities in
Betf/ral quarters of tho county hy go
ing to some church, school house or
town and there speaking to putrons
of several surrounding school dis
tricts.
