Lockhart Junction, Feb. 13.?Well,
we are having some fine weather now,
and everybody seems to be wearing
a sunshine smile. Every one has it
to shine upon their backs now when
they have it4in their soul. Sure we
should feel grateful for this beautiful
weather; the ground hog prophecy
is proving all right so far.
I guess many took advantage of
the beautiful Sabbath in going to
Sunday school and preaching. There
was Sunday school at the Gault school
house Sunday with a very good attendance;
there has not been any
services for several Sundays on account
of the cold weather and fuel
being scarle. Thrasher says the
Sunday school at Elford Grove has
put on more zeal as there was a
large attendance there Sunday. He
will preach there next Sunday by
unanimous vote of the people. I will
say for Rev. Thrasher that he has
the best advanced children that I
have seen in any Sunday school anywhere.
