White Man Shot hg a Segro.
Pete Bines, colored, shot Mr.
John llinson, a young man about
21 years of age. in a difficulty
near Heath Springs one day last
week. The negro gave Mr. Hin
son some impudence. He resented
it when the negro drew his
pistol and fired at Hinson twice
one hall passing through his arm
near the elbow and the other
striking just below the ankle
joint, none of the wounds being
serious.
A warrant was promptly issued
for Bines by Magistrate Milliard.
