He is I now serving that sentence, and as soon as he has completed that he will be placed in charge of ; Sheritl* Clyburn for safe keeping till the June term of court when will be tried for a graver offense (it ho does not plead guilty). Then after he is through with that case and the authorities are through with him, he will tie taken before Magistrate Magill of Chester county to answer preliminarily the charge of house breaking and larceny, which Magistrate Burns says the fellow admits to tie true. Mr. Editor: I will endeavor to give tlie readers of the Kntliu'UISK a little news from this section, though I have not much time to write at present. The fanners are husv plowing corn. We have good stands of cotton. Early corn is looking line, hut the Ilea bugs are very bad on it. Had good rains the past week. Sweet potatoes are sprouting nicely. Mr. Editor, bv request 1 will iiivi* a nruM statement 01 our Sabbath School at Stevens" mill. We have a nourishing Sabbath School with scholars. We [also have a prayer meeting in connection with our School every Sunday and have good order. W e have preaching twice a month on the lilt by Bio.
