accomapanijed by his counsel, Judge
S. W. M~elion ; General Conner and
L.ouis Leconto, Esq., appearing for

upon01 the part of the State. Mr.
~Wells, the book-keeper of the
present Treasurer, testified to the
presont itemized account, amount.

of the Treasurer's office showied had
