Mtv W. F. Alexander was driving
* Ford car into Conway last Monday,
and was passing one of the crossings
at what is known as the "Y," the
place where the locomotives of the
Atlantic Coast Line are run round on
a wide three cornered space and thus
turned round; when the engine which
was shifting at the time, struck the
rear end of the car and turned the
automobile completely round about
twenty feet away. The automobile 1
was considerably damaged, but Mr.
Alexander and also the colored man
who was riding with him at the time, .
both escaped injury.
