Anderson, Oct. 9.—The feeling that race trouble might develop here as the result of statements alleged to have been made by the Rev. Bachelor, pas tor of ohe of the negro churches In tfiis city, diminished considerably to day when it became known that the negro preacher had left the city. The situation since Monday afternoon had been tense.
