Decease of a promising ^Citizen.
We are pained to announce the demise on
Friday, night. 20th instant, of Samuel P.
i Stock eh Esq.. after a brief illness. The de
ceased Was a young man of much promise, and
wasdiighly esteemed aud beloved by a lurgo
circled ;of acquaintances and friends. In his
death'/Wc feel that our community has lost a
useful and enterprising member. His funeral
obsequies were performed at the Presbyterian
Church on Saturday afternoon: and his re
mains were removed to the city on Sunday, for
interment.
