to Messrs. Jno. D. and Allen
Adams was taken from a backlot
here about dusk Saturday'cvcning
and the supposition is that it

side of the camp ground and the
mule was standing in the lot of
Mr. W. E. Wilson where it had
gone during the night after being
turned loose by the rascal who !
drove it off. Sheriff Hunter and
the Messrs. Adams were at the

the lookout for the mule and vehicle.
