For the pai-t year ex-Mayor Macbeth Young has been at work on the oiganization of this concern. Quite a good deal of work was necessary to complete the organization and to get the land and shoals necessary to build this plant, there being two othor plants already located on the river in this county, namely, Lockhurt mills and the Neal Shoals power plant. It is said the plant will develop some 15,000 or 20,000 horse power and will supply cotton mills and other manufacturing concerns in this and adjoining counties with running power.
