Wednesday evening when th-ir
daughter, Miss Annie L*e, o. v*
wedded to Mr. .1 L Bird, ol K-rshaw.
Tile lion-e was beau ihilly
decorated as follows: Ttie hull,
yellow and green; the parlor,
whi'e and green; the two reception
rooms in red and green and
the dinning room, pink and green.
From the center of the parlor
hung a massive wedding bell
with a large heart banging <?n
eacli side. Promptly at 8:30
o'clock, to tbe strains ol Mendelsohn's
wedding march, rendered
by Miss Bessie Creighlon at
the organ and W. \V- Boyce on
the violin, Miss Rebecca Jen
kins, sister of the bride, entered
the 1 roil I parlor with Air. W. K.
Adams ol Charlotte, cousin ol
the bride. Then camo the at
tractive bride on the arm of her
lather and closely following came
the groom with lus best man,
Mr. Baker ot Kershaw.
The bride and gioom joined
each other beneath the large
wedding bell and the Rev. A. 8.
Rogers, pastor of the bride, in a
simple but beaulilul and impres
sive ceremony pronounced the
words that made them one.

they will reside in the luture.
Miss Jenkins is a young woman
of charming personality and
pleasing manners, and her many
friends here wish her much happiness
in her new relation. Mr.
