John T. Boggs, Sec. Treas. -Last Sunday Rev. J. C. Yongue preached his last ser mon as pastor of the W~alhalla Methodist church. It was a very touching occasion, and at the close of the service almosi the entire congregation remain ed for a short while to bid Rev. Mr. Yongue farewell. It has indeed been a long while since the departure of one of our loca] pastors has been so deeply and universally regretted. The Rev. Yongue and family will leave tomorrow for their future hoim at Pickens. They carry witli them the best wishes of the en tire community.
